Preventive

Preventative dental care is the utmost important treatment we provide. Education on dental health and needs will benefit our patients.  It is important to maintain proper dental hygiene and recall appointments to assure your teeth are healthy.  Periodic x-rays, exams and cleanings are the best way for preventative care in the dental office.

Composite (Tooth-colored) Fillings

Whether it is dietary or from acid erosion, the breakdown of tooth structure is imminent if tooth decay extends past a certain point on our teeth.  Composite fillings are used to repair teeth that are decayed, chipped, fractured or discolored or to reduce gaps between teeth.

Dental Crowns and Bridges

Crowns, or more commonly referred to as “cap,“ is a cover that fits over a tooth that has been damaged by decay, broken, badly stained or mis-shaped.  It is prepared by your dentist, and usually requires more than one visit to complete.

Bridges, or “fixed partial dentures,” are best suited to replace one or two missing teeth.  Crowns are placed on teeth on either side of a space.  These crowns are cemented in and are connected to the replacement tooth/teeth, bridging the gap.  Bridges are recommended when the anchor teeth need crowns anyway.  If the anchor teeth are pristine, sacrificing their tooth structure for the sake of a bridge may not be ideal. In such cases, a dental implant may be more appropriate.

Dental Implant Placement

Implants are placed and restored at our office.  Whether you need a single implant placement or full mouth implant restoration, please don’t hesitate to contact our office or ask Dr. Robbins personally about this service. It can truly change a patients life.

Dental Implant Restorations

Implants are restored as a single tooth replacement or a multi-unit restoration depending on the patients need once the dental implant as integrated.

Veneers

Veneers are an alternative to crowns for primarily the front teeth for aesthetic purposes.  Dr. Robbins can change the shape, size, and color of a tooth as desired.  Minimally invasive veneers can give patients more confidence with their smile.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are a removable prostheses that anchor on the remaining teeth.  Partial dentures are a great option for patients when fixed bridges or implants are not a treatment option.

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are for patients with no remaining teeth.  The patients bony ridge and gum tissue is what is used for denture retention.  When retention is poor with dentures, implants can be utilized to stabilize the prosthesis.

Teeth Whitening

We offer whitening services, but do not pressure patients.  Whitening gives our patients confidence when their teeth are discolored or stained from normal dietary habits.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canals can treat cracked or abscessed teeth.  Once a tooth is injured, cracked or decayed, it is necessary to open the tooth and clean out the infected tissue in the dental nerve (pulp).  This space is then filled and the opening sealed.  Root canals are a great treatment option when adequate tooth structure remains from decayed tooth structure.

Extractions | Wisdom Tooth Removal

A severely damaged tooth may need to be extracted.  Permanent teeth can also be removed due to orthodontist recommendation because of crowding.  Dr. Robbins also removes wisdom teeth when he thinks it’s necessary.

Pediatrics

Dr. Robbins loves kids.  Whether a child needs preventative cleanings and checkups or more complex dental procedures, we treat kids of all ages.  Referral to the pediatric dentist is only made when a child is extremely anxious and sedation is needed.

Night guards

Night guards can prevent damage to teeth and dental restorations.  Night guards are used for patients with extreme clenching, grinding and TMJ discomfort.

Sleep Apnea | Snoring Appliances

Obstructive sleep apnea is a common problem Dr. Robbins sees with his patients.  If diagnosed with sleep apnea by your physician, a removable dental appliance can be made to treat sleep apnea and/or snoring.

Oral Conscious Sedation

This is a great option for patients with more severe anxiety.  Dr. Robbins can prescribe you a sedative that can be taken before your procedure.  You must have someone escort you to and from your visit.
